STARTING WITH A HEALTHY DONOR
Our Modern Vintage conversions begin with the “donor” car. Some clients already own a modern Mustang that they would like to give a vintage look. This is something we can do, as long as the “donor” is a 2005 - 2014 Mustang. If the client doesn’t already own a donor, we can help them locate one.
ALWAYS ON THE HUNT
Our team of specialists are constantly scouting the country to find great donor Mustangs at the best deals. We have access to a network of dealers and online sellers that we use to see what’s currently available on the market that also meets our client’s specific needs. Don’t gotta have a Coyote 5.0 under the hood? Then the 2005-10’s make perfect donors and the 4.6L 3-valve is a fantastic motor.
This Mustang made a great donor car. Due to it’s very “specific” look, our client paid much less than suggested retail price.
IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PRETTY
Since we’re giving the car an entirely new body, many things that would normally matter to most buyers, won’t matter to us. Some of the best donor cars are so ugly that no one else wants them. Seriously! Or even hail and body damage aren’t an issue, since we’re pulling the body panels off anyway. However, we recommend you ALWAYS stay away from water damage or frame damage.
THE RIGHT DONOR
Find what’s right for you and your needs. Some clients prefer a manual over an automatic transmission. Some will want very low miles, while others could care less. Occasionally, a client will have a very specific build in mind. Such as building a 1970 Boss 302 out of a 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca. You dream it, we’ll build it.
